Motherhood has shaped and redefined my life in numerous ways. Other than being a mother, I absolutely LOVE the outdoors. We love where we live. I love to get my family out and ski, hike or just take a drive. We also love to spend time right here in Laramie at the parks, downtown, University and the Greenbelt. I also, used to be a horsewoman and plan on getting back in the saddle someday. :)
I am a little quirky, athletic, typically happy, sensitive, kind, perhaps a little old-fashioned, a hard worker, a bit of a perfectionist (good and bad thing :)), and a loyal friend and family member. I am a pretty laid back person who does on occasion get very passionate about certain topics. I love to root for the underdog- who doesn't? :)
I love things like... rain, fireworks, lilacs, aspens, hot apple cider, taper candles, gardens, adjectives (maybe use a little too many at times), rocking chairs, ribbon, china cabinets, music of various kinds, dirt roads, old books, stained glass, wide-brimmed hats, mascara, high heels, pearls, baby Onesies, the color purple, archaeology, architecture, barns and homemade ice cream.
How we met
Brendan and I met in 2003. My love for architecture and his devotion to investment properties brought us together. I saw a FOR RENT sign in the window of a property close to campus and called up the number. It was Brendan and although I was stubborn and at times a little difficult :) that was it for us and we have been together ever since. Here is a picture of us together with my old dog, Mattie before we had children.
Our Children
Our little brood: Amelia, Falyn and Paine. Being parents is an extraordinary thing and we are so very fortunate to have these three in our lives!
